Most overrated film?

I can see this causing some arguments but here goes. Personally, I think Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix, Blade Runner, the Harry Potter films and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are ridiculously overrated. Any others?

The Star Wars sequels. I enjoyed the original as a child, but the rest, particularly the latest batch were rubbish in my opinion,

The Usual Suspects, didn't see it for a while and when I did I was seriously disappointed as it was average at best when anybody who had mentioned it said it was one of the best films of all time.

I'd agree with Matrix and Blade Runner, would say PotC or Harry Potter have ever been rated as "good films" just succesfull throw away one.

But Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is brilliant, I think it might depend on your out look on life and the sort of relationships you might of had. Definately struck a cord with me.

In recent years Best in Show was and is the worst movie I have ever seen, really hyped up to compare with Spinal Tap. It didnt, I walked out halfway through. What a crock.

I can't beleive this! Are u out o your mind? Matrix, Star Wars, God Father, LOTR, Scilence of the lambs & Pulp Fiction were all great movies. they're not over rated. harry potter and P of the C is.

Iy seems like you're saying any good movie is over rated. (and make examples of good unoverrated movies if you can)
