If you had been given one opportunity to play the part any movie character of your choice (i.e. in place of the actor who originally starred), which movie and character would you choose?

I would have chosen Ripley in the Alien movies.

That's who I want to be. I'll fight you for it! I adore Sigourney Weaver and the strength of character she brings to the role. Actually, I really wouldn't mind being Sigourney Weaver herself, even if she is well into her fifties.

Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct. Or Mickey Rourke in 9 and 1/2 weeks. Or Willem Defoe in Body of Evidence. Or Sean Bean in Lady Chatterley. I think there may be common theme here.

I would like to play either Maid Marion in Robin Hood, prince of Thieves or Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard. Not because the parts are great but because I'd get to snog Kevin Costner. Yes, I know that i am very shallow but what the heck!!

Great question Champagne!, i wouldn't mind playing the role of Baby opposite Patrick Swayze, purely for the same shallow reasons as smiffy.As a role purely for a roles sake in a great film, it would have to be Ce Ce in Beeches, but then again, if Bette Middler wasn't in it, i wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much!
