I know what you mean, when everybody ranted about the office I couldn�t see why at all. Peter Kay is way much better.:-)

I loved The Office, however I saw his one man show thingy on DVD (title escapes me now) and it put me right off him, his jokes were blasphemous and downright awful, can't stand him now.

Peter Kay on the other hand totally kills me- he's hysterical.

Yes, he is a comedy genius. Some people just don't get his humours because it's actually very intelligent and subtle.

When he is being interviewed he`s OK for 2 minutes then he starts to do my head in. He is defo over-rated.

I agree with 4getmenot - Peter Kay is in a league of his own and at the moment is the only comedian who makes me laugh out loud.

Humour, like many other things in this world, is very subjective. What may have me in stitches leaves you flat and vice-versa.

It hasn't been proved yet robbo, I like him, I have seen him live but there are funnier people, you might think I am crackers but the funniest 3 people I have seen live are, in no particular order, Tommy Cooper, Ken Dodd and Jimmy tarbuck, he is a genius to see live, but others might not have the same sense of humour as me, but I think I won't need a drink anyway because they will be quite damp!!!!

I think I'm the only person in this country who doesn't like Gervais or Kay. I would rather have all of me teeth pulled out then sit and watch The Office. It just doesn't do it for me. Am sure they are great and talented guys but not my cup of tea.

i think Ricky Gervais is very overated. The only time he made me laugh out loud was when his mate, Jonathan Ross intervied him! Pure brilliance! I just don't get the office. Not funny to me in the slightest, nor Steve Coogan. sorry!!! I loe Peter Kay though, i could watch him all night as a stand up, would give my right arm to see him live. we are all different though which is a good thing. My hubby loves Chubby Brown but i can't stand him!
