Apparently, it was Hymn to Freedom by Oscar Peterson. Personally, I thought he was playing Bridge Over Troubled Water on the piano, which shows how poor is my appreciation of music.

just a little bit of info about hugh laurie,my friend in america tell's me that the producers have stopped him going on the chatshows because as we all know in real life he is english and some americans are pretty upset lol
