Why doesn' t " Coupling" get the credit it deserves?
To me it's one of life`s great mysteries - brilliantly written and performed, but a new series came out a while ago and you can't find a mention of it anywhere, the BBC don`t mention it although it's theirs, none of the cast or writers ever get interviewed, and if you want a DVD you'll have to get it online 'cause you'll never find it in a shop.
Yet 5 minutes of any episode of it is worth the entire huge stack of "Friends" dvds that confront you in WHSmith's or wherever

Plenty mentions of it here, although nothing new since the last series in 2004...

I got the dvds from www.play.com
And yes the episode with the leg is brilliant. Especially when he says something along the lines of 'ive got the keys to heaven but Ive got too many legs'
I too rate Coupling highly.
I have been watching comedy all my life (over 50 years) and find much new comedy leaves me cold, but I loved Coupling.
It is very well written with lots of very subtle lines.
Remember the one where it starts with Susan always saying to Steve "Where are you going" when he goes anywhere like the loo, and Steve always saying to Susan "Its up to you" when she asks him a question like which skirt to wear.
But then at the end of the episode they have a row and she walks out on him.
This time HE says "Where are you going" and SHE says "its up to you".
Very clever. That takes some clever writing and planning.
