Does anyone know who sang on the Bugsy Malone soundtrack?

I have both the CD and DVD and it doesn't appear to credit singers on either as obviously it wasn't kids.

paul williams wrote it i think and i always presumed the kids sung on it. Some of the singing is terrible isn't it? always loved it though
'Bad Guys' (your quote) was presumably sung by most of the cast-members - wasn't it the finale in the film?

The songs were definitely not sang by the children, Alan Parker confirms that on the DVD commentary but I just wondered who sang the songs as they don't appear to be credited. Maybe I'll have to watch the credits again to double check it doesn't say there.

Bad Guys is sang halfway through the song, the song at the end is the same song but about Good Guys instead.

The artists credited on the Original Soundtrack for the vocals are:

Paul Williams (of course)
Archie Hahn
Julie McWirder
Liberty Williams

and backing vocals attributed to:

Lewis Morford
Jerry Whitman
Sukey Smith
Jim Haas
Ron Hicklin

Hi,

I'm sukey. We had a blast singing Bugsy with Paul Williams. Nope -- we weren't kids so we just sang a goofy and happpily as we could!

sukey
talulah - jodie foster - definately sings her song though, doesn't she?

Sukey: wow! can I have your autograph?
Jodie Foster doesn't sing either. It's all adult performers.
