can someone please tell me the situation regarding portable tv's when the switch to digital occurs? are we supposed to buy a box of tricks for each? we have 3 portables so if this is the case it may cost a lot.thanks

Yes you will need a Freeview box for each.

Prices are coming down and you can get a Freeview box for less than �30.

Of course your TVs may have gone wrong by then, so you can just buy a new TV with digital TV already built in it.
