Can someone tell me what the first few murders had to do with the woman who was killing evryone? I didn't understand what they had to do with her father.

She was killing people close to those who were involved in the first enquiry. The last one she killed was her fathers lover for it was he who comitted the crime her father was doing time for.

No I don't mean those people. I mean the very first, the ones who were responsable for crimes, but others had been accused. The man that got buried alive. What did he have to do with her?
