I reckon possibly 1990 Toto Cutugno of Italy. After that 1987 Johnny Logan of Ireland. Hope its right!

I don't know, you are probably right. I just know it seems ages since it happened. Maybe tonight Ireland's Brian Kennedy will do it again for Ireland!!!! Although he is probably the only one not to have any fancy dress or gimmicks!!!!!!!!!!

I dont normally watch it but I might tonite. Have you seen that group from Finland. Lulu, Cliff and Bucks Fizz eat your heat out.

Be interesting to hear what Terry Wogan says. I reckon he makes that show!

I agree. Imagine the talk if Lordi win!!!!!!!
may lordi eat daz sampson

if they do a great HOORAH!!! shall resound through blighty

I hope you shall all vote for finland by the way. Shame on you if you don't
I'll be laughing my socks off if Finland win! BTW, is it my imagination or does Brian Kennedy's song sound uncomfortably close to a slowed down version of Love Shine A Light? Oh well, why change a winning formula eh?

I'm still sulking after the semi-final. Belgium and Monaco (catchy songs sung by pretty girls) get knocked out, Lithuania (god-awful joke "song" representing Lithuanian humour at its, erm, Lithuanianest) and Turkey (dreadful screeching nonsense squawked by a horse in a frock) go through. Pah! There ain't no justice, I tells ya. It's a good job I'm not German, otherwise I might take the damn thing seriously and get really upset. :-)
Dana International was the last man to win Eurovision, in 1998.

Souldriver,

Can I raise a point. Dana International had sex assignment surgery in 1993 so is He now a She in which case your answer is wrong. Interesting point. If She is still a He then you are right!

Would'nt like to bet on who is right though.

Sorry big al... it was meant to be a joke. Just like the whole Eurovision is in general.

Did'nt intend anything. Thought it was a good point and when I answered the question forgot everything about Him/Her.

Yeah it is a joke but I watched it. Thought the Finnish group was good and deserved to win.

Take care Al
