Calimero ?
6 Answers
Does anyone else remember a cartoon from the seventies that was on either before or after 'Crystal Tips and Alistair' on ITV. It was about a little black bird who walked around with a cracked egg shell on his head, saying ' It's an injustice, it is' in a Mexican accent. Or is this a total figment of my imagination - no one else seems to remember it. Help please!!!

We regularly watched Calimero back in thye seventies.I think it was italian made and he really used to say:-it is injustice.... .I still remember a sequence when Calimero's uncle asked him to bring one used match stick and Calimero took one from a life sized ship built entirely from used match sticks and the ship shattered into a pile of matches.Calimero's uncle was crying: -years of painstaking job, oh god!Nice to remember after all these years.Unfortunatelly I dont remember any other sequences and the cartoon was suddenly axed out of the Yugoslav TV.I heared rumours that the cartoon had been making children angry becouse of all that injustice Calimero suffered and used to hit children's feelings hard.Could this be true?
