Sky movies are going to show a girly film deliberately opposite the football throughout the world cup, will relationships stand it?

I think there is also an an advertising campagn by TV retailers for women to buy second TV sets, we have 6 in this house and so it fell on deaf ears here. Don't most houses have at least two TVs? We have Sky+ too with the second room option so two sky boxes. It's not expensive and you can watch stuff and record at the same time now.

Sky are just clutching at straws because the games are on normal telly! I'm female and would rather watch footy any day to a girly film anyway, lol!
Im lucky that my bf hates football as much as i do. Such a shame he watches fishing programs instead :)

We have one TV and no Sky.

Just the 5 bog-standard channels.

I find there is too much sh1te on the 5 channels we have, without adding to it.

Hubby will probably watch the footie but if there was a film on that i wanted to watch i would simply tape it and watch another time.

Don't people do other things APART from watching the TV any more...?

Its just to make you buy sky +.. so you can record one and watch the other. Or sky multiroom.... watch two different sky channels in different rooms
