Lost - Season 2 Finale

I have just watched the finale of Season 2 of Lost. Is anyone else as confused as me? I thought it was brilliant and really did keep me wide eyed and worried all the way through but I have absolutely no idea whats going on. I am guessing that was the plan and I am not meant to understand.

Whats everyones thoughts on it?

well I havent seen all of it, as ion the UK we are not even half way through season 2. But the word from the USA is that there is a 3rd series and it could possibly stretch to 5 series, which is a shame as people are already fed up with not knowing what the f'ck is going on!

I was a bit disappointed that something a bit more dramatic didn't happen when the hatch blew up (assuming it did, and if it did what happened to Locke, Mr Eko and Desmond?). I assume that Penny has been using her resources to try to find Desmond (though I don't know how she worked out that the pulse[?] was connected) and that she'll play a larger part in S3.

I do have a sneaking suspicion that the writers are making it up as they go along, and that they shouldn't stretch it out for as long as they claim they are going to.

I think thats very true Spaced. I heard that people are abit annoyed coz they are really confused but I kind of like it aswell. The suspense is imense.. Lol

LeMarchand - I know.. where the hell did she come from and how did she find him? Sooooo weird! And has Michael gone now? Him and Walt just drove off! Please don't let them hurt Sawyer. Lol. My three fave characters are not prisoners! I am mega confused!

i hav seen the finale i was really disapointed. people were sayin it was gonna be the best finale ever! whatever! there wasn't even a good cliffhanger. the only question is has locke,eko and desmond survived. but the omly thing i thought was good was that henry sed no 1 will be able to get back here to michael when he let him go. and that bird DID say hurleys name didn't it. so what was the big cliffhanger about penny? all she did was answer the phone it wasn't an exciting ending!

I admit there wasn't a huge cliffhanger but so many unanswered questions. I liked it. I am easily pleased I think.. Lol

previously we were all given the impression that the island was under the control of 'the others'...just a few scientists,now we see its far bigger than that.the british government look like they have something to do with it and desmonds girlfriend obviously knows something about it as she has a team of russians in some frozen wasteland looking for magnetic anomolies knowing thats why her des is missing.

walt and michael were told to sail away at a set angle and they would escape but once out they could never return.....will they turn back ? is the island in a 'snowglobe' as des said ?

did des,locke,ecko survive ?

Thats what I mean Matt.. we were left with loads of cliffhangers and not one big big big main one. Whats going on with that foot statue aswell?

Hey what about the big magnet now thats gone they can track the boats on radar eg the white boat so alls well and they find the white boat or was it micheal and his kid they found? intresting eh, the bird didnt say his name i slowed down the show and it as just a noise.

Remeber the magnet was stopping radar, and that why the white boat cam e back his compass would send him round and round, or am i being slow and you all knew this already:)
