Dogs in the Omen Film original

Can someone out there confirm my beleif that the dogs used in the original OMEN film were Rottwielers??????????

Yep they were...and an Aber on here (zara4) had a rottwieler which was a descendant of the ones in The Omen

Cor! how fab is that, Zara 4? a friend of mine has a Dalmation which was a pup sired by one of the main doggies in 101 Dalmations..although that doesn't sound as cool!

There was something on Channel 4 the other evening - 'Curse of The Omen' I think - which confirmed they were rottweilers. Apparently one of them bit through the stuntman's steel arm padding during the graveyard bit :os

Oh yep postdog,we had one of them,would greet the postie at the gate,walk beside him up the garden,then back to the gate,barking his little head off at him,luckily the postie knew he was ok,but any postie covering his round,Wouldn't come in the garden!!
