Is he a real geordie? I'm a southerner thats been living in the Northeast for a few years now and I've never heard any other geordies speak like that. I think he's either putting it on or exagerrating it cos he thinks its cool. I just think its bloody annoying and right up there with all the Essex people who try and sound like cockneys but have learned it all from Eastenders.

There are a lot of variations in regional dialects even in that region. I`m Welsh born,bred,& speak it fluently, but I hear a lot of different Welsh accents locally. Even some of the people born around here sound different.
