I often see this in cinema listings, next to individual film titles. Can anyone tell me what it actually means? Thanks.

You will notice the FLS tag is usually placed against blockbuster films - it's so the cinemas can gain maximum revenue for sure-fire sell-out films.
It Means Free List Suspended and as pointed out it meas people of whom usually have free entry (through free tickets) are not granted this ability
Cinema employees or even local journalists must waite for the film to no longer be FLS
Of course if you use FLS as an indictor as acknowledgement to when particular cinemas allow free entry after a given number of tickets, you will probably feel demoralised with a hint of resentment towards such a company for removing such a long running benefit...cough cough Ambassidors Cinemas
