I have just switched the paramount comedy channel on and its Lee Evans live in Scotland. How fantastic is he? Has anyone seen him live? Who else have you seen live and how good were they?

LMU - i have seen him live... fantastic!!

And Dave Gorman is brilliant too, live.

And Bill Bailey.

Er.. that's it... i should get out more... sheltered life and all that...

with you on Lee Evans, obviously but i can't stand that Dave Gorman. I have seen, wait for it and don't laugh, Jim Davidson, years and years ago when i was about 18. He was great though but very rude. I have also seen Phil Cool, anyone remember him, Mr rubbery face. fantastic!
Lee Evans Live in Scotland is superb!!, i have never seen him live but would love too, does anyone know if he has tour dates coming up??
Would also like to see Peter Kay and Bill Bailey live.
Question Author
Oh yes, peter Kay, those tickets would be like gold dust. I don't think there are many out there who don't like him.
I saw Lee Evans last year on his XL tour - flipping hilarious...jees i was crying with laughter.

I've seen Eddie Izzard live a couple of times too...he's funny in a completely different way - very gigglesome

I'd love to see Dylan Moran live - i've seen the 'Monster' dvd of his live show - again very funny!!

I've seen Joe Pasquale live too!! very silly, child-like humour, but i still giggled like mad.

I'd love to see Ken Dodd too - i know he's quite old style comedy, but apparently he's very good...gives his audence a very good show.
Jimmy Carr's show 'Off the Telly' was fantastic. He hardly seemed to be using written material at all, just bantering with the audience and weaving in a few stories apparently about his mates. He was very quick with put downs to hecklers, but appreciated clever shout outs. One mystery though, he had a sofa on the stage but never referred to it at all...

cherrybomb, i didn't say EVERYONE just most! not my fault if your weird!!! lol
I haven't seen Lee Evans live (only DVD's etc), but I'd like too. I really would like to see Lee Mack live, I think the guy's a genius. Also Tim Vine, anyone who can make a living from puns like his deserves a medal.

I do the sound for a number of the London circuit comedians, and I heartily recommend that you go to your local comedy club and see people you may not know by name. Many of the acts I do the sound for Jongleurs and Comedy Store regulars. This is where the famous people start.

Many are mentioned here, both famous and non famous. I would say, forget about the reviews as comedy is a very personal thing, whatever you personally find hilarious, another person may hate. It's a great night out with your mates.
Morning Jules..not only have I see him live, I was at that very gig you watched! Kid you not. Shame tho, the huge number of lights etc made it far too hot and bright in the theatre, but it was a fantastic gig. The man is hilAYrious :o)
how's you pet? life good? hope so, tc xx
'Morning jules! How's you?

I went to see him twice in December and I laughed so hard both times. He's so fantastic, I want to marry him :o)
