What do you think, has your opinion of him changed, i used to think he was a waste of space and bought about his own bad luck( if you can call kate moss bad luck!!), but got to say he came across a bit better than i thought he would, i now see him in a slightly better light, can't put my finger on why just do, any other opinions...?

I have to agree with you si, I always thought he was a complete drugged-up idiot.
He came across as relatively lucid and eloquent, he also had a big air of vulnerability and gentleness about him on last night's show, (which is why I think JR wanted to 'mother' him!)
Watch this space for PD's missing Portugese (?) impants I suppose...

I havent really followed his career but have got The Libertines album - and like a couple of the songs and thought on hearing it what a raw and natural voice Doherty had - loved cant stand me now.
When i heard Ross announce on last weeks show that Doherty was going to be on I thought "yea right".
I was actually very suprised that he actually turned up. I thought he came across well - he obviously needs so much more help, and it will be a terrible waste if he ruins his life.
