film from ages ago

does anybody know what this film is called i watched it ages on the tv once about 7 years ago, there were loads of hills/mountains and a it was snowing really heavily and a women went inot labour and some people there with her had to help because lots of people were stuck because of the snow. i dotn remeber much of it but it was really cool, if anyone knows what this film is called???
