Was watching this last night and turned off at the point when he didn't marry that lass with the brown hair. What happens after that? How does it end?

I unfortunately watched it until the end. He marries his original girlfriend after seeing the light when the vicar told him how nice it is to look into someone's eyes when you are old and still see the same person you met. Blah blah blah. How do you know asks the bachelor and he tells the story of how he hasn't always been a vicar but was married for 26 years before his wife died.

He proposes and he really means it and she could see that in his eyes.

Meanwhile A front page ad goes into the news and hundreds of women turn up at the church to marry him, but at the last minute his real love turns up too because she didnt really go to Greece. They get married and all the other brides watch.
