Some UK pubs are showing live Premier League football on Saturday afternoons. What channel are they tuning in to, and can the general public do the same?
If they are showing games which kick off at 3pm then I don't know. However, many games are re-scheduled for 1200, 1230 or 1730 so that they can be shown on the 'normal' Sky channels
I know that some pubs have tuned in to a Norwegian station, and then put on Radio 5 for the commentary, which makes the commentators sound great as they are a split second ahead of the TV pictures. Don't know how an ordinary punter would get it though.
My father in law has two Italian digiboxes - "Stream" and "D+". You can usually find a live premiership game on a Saturday or one with a delayed transmission. They usually have the option of a live English commentary too.
The only catch is that the boxes have to be bought in Italy and the subscription must be to an Italian address.
