Mos chops

I seem to remember a kids cartoon back in the 80s which had dinosaurs in it. They would go and talk to a flower in the sand dunes and I am sure the main character was called Moschops. Does anyone else remember it? What was it called?

i remember the cartoon but like you couldn't remember the name of the programme , still none the wiser!

We used to all our Italian teacher moschops, so this queation has really made me smile. I had a moschops annual.
