i have been recently watching the new series of charmed on living tv when my father said to me, i leo the whitelighter is supposed to be dead, how did he get piper pregnant? i know he is dead cos' its been mentioned that whitelighters are a type of angel and are therefore not alive. any suggestions on how piper's new baby is leo's and how can we get half-whitelighters?

Well its called the birds and the bees and goes something like this..... The fact they are all witches and have a magic book in the attic would suggest the whole idea is impossible so the fact an angel made piper pregnant should not raise too many eyebrows. Anyway God who does'nt exist in a physical form made Marry pregnant yet millions of people believe it to be true, go to church and ask the vicar he may be able to help.

i think i should know about the birds and the bees!!!! anyway this question was hypathetical, the book OF SHADOWS!! shouldn't make any difference to reality, apart from adding all kinds of spells and demands!! i am a christian and yes, it was a miracle that mary had a baby whilst still being a virgin, but this was not the point as i said before.

Leo is infact dead as you say, he died during world war 2, however when he is not flittering away up through the ceiling to get the answer to all the problems he does actuallt take on human form, therefore the previous answer about the birds and the bea's is as close to fact as you can get. The part about half whitelighters is supposedly a gift, although the series has contradicted itself by also mentioning that physical relations between whitlighters and witches is taboo!

Half-whitelighters are when one of the parents is a whitelighter. Paige is half-whitelighter (her mum had an affair with a whitelighter) but isn't as powerful as Wyatt as Piper was a charmed one where as their mother was just a witch.
