Can anyone remember the name of a TV series in the late 70's possibly starring Leif Garrett or similar about an US beach and featured a motorhome?

I'm not sure if I am confusing two programmes - perhaps Leif Garrett was in a different show - I thought it was something like California Dreaming that I was thinking of
