should never have been made into a film.
years since i've seen it though but didn't like it at all

Nope, nope, nope! please don't waste valuable time watching the film ~ it's a pile of pants.

The book made me cry..the movie made me wince!

Hiya - my sister loved the book, she gradually brought the others in the same series at car boot sales etc. She found the film wasn't quite as good as the book in this case, but I guess that's often the case when you've imagined it all and built it up in your mind first.

I knew she said it wasn't as good, but thinking about it more, I think she did moan about the film being pretty poor in comparison.....so follow caz and pippa's advice and stick with the book!

The Flowers in the Attic set of books are my all time favourite. The film would be a waste of time because it's the biggest pile of sh1t going, you're better watching the grass grow.
