Royal Flash

In the 1970s a film was made of George Macdonald Fraser's "Royal Flash" with Malcolm McDowell playing the lead as Flashman and featuring a host of other British stars such as Oliver Reed, Alan Bates and Alastair Sim. I really like the film and I taped it off the telly years ago. Alas, the tape is now unplayable and I'm trying to get hold of the film on DVD without any luck. Neither HMV, Virgin nor Amazon have it and they have informed me that it doesn't exist on DVD. Any ideas?

Last time it was released on video tape appears to be 1987
