Ive been playing Bass for 12 years, and have lots of studio experience. I have also worked for NEC group as a rigger / humper.
I really want to get involved in BASS TECHNICIAN work. does anyone know of an agency that deals with this kind of thing.

These things tend to go on a 'word of mouth' basis. Techncians in band crews often start working with bands they know as friends, and with experience, word gets around. It is all a matter of whom you know.

Why not contact your local venue and offer your services to any bands who are playing. Sooner or later, a medium-sized band is going to happen along who don't have a tech. with them - offer to tech. for free, and then give the grateful bassist, and the sound guy, and the tour manager, and anyone else you talk to, one of those nice business cards that you have had prineted with your name, mobile, and e-mail details, advising that you are available.

Then hope. It takes patience, but this is the way it works. I have met masses of techs., and every single one started this way.
