Just wanted to recommend this film to everyone, if you havent already seen it for yourselves. I watched it last night for the first time and thought it was an excellent film, representing a man, not only of great talent, but also great personal strength, which pull him through the harder times in his life.

I thought it was quite emotional in parts though!

I love films based on real life stories (autobiography style), showing how people have made a difference to themselves and others, through their hope and determination. Does anyone have any recommendations.......

Another great film - men of honour (for the same reason, never allowing others to hold them back!)

just wanted to second what you said it a great film, have you seen walk the line? if you are looking for recommendations try crash great film that really makes you think.

I really enjoyed it too - That guy has/had a fantastic voice and I though it was well presented although I am sure I read somewhere that his child/children were not happy with the film at all?!

But I really enjoyed it. Crash also a good film, I watched again since and thought it was a little over the top in places but I did really enjoy it.
