Government guidelines say explicit sex or violence should not be shown before 9pm and programmes between 9 and 10pm which do carry more sex and bad language should be accompanied by a warning. The BBC says parents must share responsibility for their children's viewing and there are television watchdogs such as the Independent Television Commission which you can turn to for advice or to make complaints about particular programmes.
why ask a question if you yourself can, and intend to answer it?
