Afterlife series 2

I've just heard that a second series of Afterlife with Lesley Sharpe has been commissioned, yay! Did anyone else enjoy this drama?

That is good news Pawsabelle. It definitely deserves a second series unlike a lot of ITV programmes. What I don't get is why ITV repeated the first episode a couple of weeks back and then just bumped it for Poirot!

Strange eh! I used to love Poirot but not so keen now. Really looking forward to Afterlife now that Medium has finished :-(

Did enjoy it and definitely glad they're doing another series but have to admit to liking medium even more than afterlife

brilliant show,, loved medium too can't wait for that to be back on, ghost whiperer just doesn't seem to have the same edge.

I missed the last episode of afterlife,was in france for the day,thought i may get to see it this time round,obviously not!

Just found the following on Digispy, might explain why Poirot replaced Afterlife
'the re-run of series one of afterlife has been pulled due to low ratings (received an e-mail from ITV after asking where it had gone).

It is scheduled for a run on ITV3 prior to series 2 showing on ITV1'

the series came out on dvd - i'm really glad there will be another series ... as far as i can remember we dont know if shes dead or not at the end of the last one

but surly... as i saw it?..... the medium who was in her body died at the end of series 1?
