Yes it is Salvador Dali the famous surrealist painter.
If anyone is squeamish, they filmed someone putting a cut-throat razor next to a girl's eye, then the camera cuts away to a cloud passing the moon, and the next shot is the eye being sliced. Of course, they substituted a (dead) cow's eye for the second shot, but it is still a bit of shock when you see it for the firt time. I was sixteen, they showed it at my school(!)
