It was definitely worth a watch - am sad I haven't seen whole series now. Big Ron tried a coaching session (lots of come on, let's go's in a french accent - like that constintues seaking french!) and eventually a half-time interview on national cahnnel. He did ok-ish but of course the other presenters did have a bit of a laugh at him - and his wife said he is speaking more french these days, usually when they go to Spain! He said v nice things about his teacher and begged forgiveness for being an ar*e. Marcus did a stand-up in Marseille - including some excrutiating jokes about old men looking like they need a poo as they play petanque, and a ski instructor who sends the men off so he can sh*g the wives - they didn't quite know what to make of that. So he worked on his physical comedy and then he performed at Le Point Virgule in Paris - the booker loved him and asked him to come back which I think he is planning to do. Esther did a radio agony aunt slot and I think a cable tv inteview, then she was on Le Grand Journal on Canal Plus interviewing a prime minesterial candidate - she gave them uk-themed pressies and charmed the socks off them. She was totally nervous but the producers seem really pleased and said with about 4wks more practice she could work in France and older women is what they need! All v enjoyable and made me want to get out there and work abroad and face the challenge!
