Does anyone know if More4 is planning to screen the last season ?Have really enjoyed catching up. Is Sipowitz the best cop ever?

He certainly is! The good news is - Series Twelve, the final one (sob!) is due to be shown in the autumn. Maybe they can start again from Day One - how cool would that be!

I agree he is a wonderful character, though he does seem like a continuation from the two characters he played in Hill Street Blues.

I can't wait to watch series 12. Apparently, the ghost of Bobby Simone appears in one episode. Hope you like the link.

Had a quick peek Xanthippe but don't want to spoil it .Hope they advertise it before they show it stuck away on More4. ABers will have to post a reminder if they notice it is on.
P.s. I didin't know when NYPD blue finished so had set my tape for a fortnight. Got " The Closer " which I had seen a few of on C4.Thought great I'll watch this again ,Third episode starts and there is a great big message covering 4/5 of the screen from NTL which stayed on till the end of the Tape (all 4 hours of it) No, I didn't watch it all to check just kept ffwd.Now if Nypd hadn't finished I would have been seriously annoyed.
