Whilst the sceptic's answer was somewhat unconvincing, the Most Haunted team themselves admitted that the footage was not sufficently good to pass muster. Vibrations may not have been a good explanation - personally, I favour someone on the floor moving them, as that's what it looked like to me - but footage like that has to be challenged, and any other more rational explanations discarded. Occam's razor, innit? 'The simplest explanation is usually the right one'. I'd further compound it by using Conan Doyle's utterance of Sherlock Holmes "It is an old maxim of mine that when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." i.e. discard the easy and logical before you investigate anything else, but if that is the only set of logic to fit, then it is likely the truth.
