how weird....to me he DOES sound Scottish, and I'm a Scot. Please do bear in mind that not all folk from Glasgow speak like your stereotypical weegie ned. The gentile folk of Kelvinside and Bearsden would be horrified at the very thought!
yes, I'm from Largs, so I don't have a strong accent either, but I cannot hear the scot in him at all! I knew he used to play for Rangers, which is why I was so surprised when I heard him speak! I really expected a Phil Kay style accent - Scottish, but not too strong or overbearing.
awww kick, i'm one of the gentile mob then!! i'm a bearsden lass!! xxmy dad curls with his uncle, who has a very broad scottish accent...but Gordon has lived in London for most of his life so its no surprise his accent has softened.
lol ww1 - yep, would definitely describe you as gentile :o)))) How are you anyway sweetie? You good? Will drop you a mail, but pc has been a complete pain in the derriere the last few weeks, tho I think (fingers crossed) it\'s OK for now.
