Someone who went to the finale on Friday said that Davina thanked everybody and said see you next year. So there's a possiblity there will be a BB8.
Put it this way, I reckon Endemol will keep flogging it whilst they can make so much money from it, once it starts costing them money, then it will finish.

my daughter writes on here in text speak as that is what she uses the most, she is very bright and clever with a good job and can talk proper like wot I do, but she was ridiculed on here for her efficient use of words and she now avoids the place pretty much. Shame because she did like the site and could have helped answer lots of music and shopping questions.
We maybe should also remember that there are people in the world who use this site who may not have English as their first language.

It appears that it will be necessary for the government to revolutionise the National Curriculum for English Language in the light of these etymological developments (not to mention all those TEFL courses for Mr and Ms Bemused of Overseas). I wonder how the glorious subtleties of PG Wodehouse and Shakespeare will manifest themselves in the context of the new lingua franca of "Bozo".

Dot!! Where's your sense of humour gone? You seemed to apply it very well in other threads you have taken part in and with those, had no problem in using plenty of banter and even light hearted p**s taking yourself (which so far I have found very funny). So I feel that you don't really have any right to comment in this manner on someone elses banter, pot and kettle? I can ony imagine that this has hit a sore point somehow with your daughters experience.
By the way Gina-gal has not used text speak (in my opinion) but ghetto style language which seems to be fashionable at the moment, youngsters today eh!!

Anyway...

A few years back they decided to make 8 series of big brother apparently (haven't a clue why 8 but *shrugs)

However when they did the golden housemate this year, one of the sun reporters got a golden ticket and did an article on what happened. I know you can't trust tabloids but they did say that golden ticket holders where told they would all get put on stand by for future big brother series, which would make one assume that there will be more.

There have also been various references through out the series to future programs. So I would assume that this time next year we will have yet another new big brother winner.
