In the 80's there was an zoo / vet show . I cant remember much more about it apart from the fact that the vet was really hairy . I remember one episode had a cobra in it that escaped but as I was only woung when it aired it not surprising. It is driving me mad I tried goggling it and got nowhere. Please help

Question Author
no it was like a drama series
It was called One By One,based on the books (5 of them)by Vet David Taylor, and set in the 50s or 60s.It starred Rob Heyland as Donald Turner a young vet who in the first series joined a practice which had the local zoo as a client and so had to learn about exotic animals. In series 2 he was involved in setting up a wildlife park.In series 3,I think he was travelling the world as an expert in exotic species.I read the books at the time and they were fun,but I'm not sure if they are still available.
