Hi there, unfortuantely I fell asleep before the ending (as usual) and my boyfriend told me that it was the backward brother of the lady of the house that committed the murders but on the instruction of the little boy. However, he couldn't tell me what the big secret was that the syndicate were trying to keep quiet about. Any one help out please!!

The female member of the syndicate (the boys mother) had been raped by the Lord of the Manor and the boy was his son so the family fortune including the race horse now belonged to the little boy. He got the backward brother to do his bidding by reprogramming the computer game that they were playing and making him act it out for real.
