I have only recently got digital tv and I have started to watch House. Could anyone please tell me how House injured his leg, and is this why he is so grumpy?

i have been informed by my partner and her mother who are addicted to the show that he was injured in a motocycle accident.

no its not a motorbike ....its an attack usually suffered elsewhere.

i think house had a blood clot in his leg that resulted in the cells in his muscles dying. cant rem the medical term for it. something like infarction.
