right this is a old one. can anyone remember a drama series about 15 years ago with richard briers in it,he went on holiday with his wife,she came back in a coffin and he got hit on the head and lost his memory.anyway,he went to live with his nephew or grandson. he had lost his mind so to speak and i always remember him going up and down the stairs on his stair lift. in the end one of his friends died and he did wot he thought was a autopsy on the friend in the garden shed,but everyone thought he had actually brutally murdered her by carving her up.bit sketchy,but if anyone remembers wot its called then gr8. I love this website.

Apparently the BBC refuse to re-broadcast it or release it on DVD due a couple of episodes which received complaints of depicting racism within the police force and cruelty to a dead duck!
