I loved Northern Exposure! So much so I wanted to move to Alaska!!!! Monday nights at 10pm wasn't it? C4.

Totally of the wall ,Great show.Loved Ruth-Anne(Born to bingo shirt) and Ed Chigliak ,they had a great relationship.Chris in the Morning was a guru.
Maurice and officer Semanski were made for each other.
Marilyn Whirlwind should be a model for all receptionists.
Joel and Maggie were cool and funny.
Adam was tremendous
Shelly and Holling were great also.
The music was Brilliant ,i've got the CD
I miss it a lot.

You should get the DVD , I found it for a bargain on DVD.co.uk, I got the 1st series, watched it then got the second series and now I have just bought the 3rd series!

Janine Turner was Maggie, she later appeared with Sly Stallone in Cliffhanger.

My friend used to love it.I didn't get into it til much later,but I loved the quirkiness of it.A big change from all the usual old predictable soaps!
