I also remember Mr Ben (he used to visit a fancy dress shop, try different outfits and go on amazing adventures via a portal in the changing room) and Crystal Tipps and Alistair (a psychedelic thing, no idea what it was all about, but it was colourful). Ahh, looking back, they were rubbish.
I was a child of the 70's and 80's myself so I remember things like Mr Benn, Mary Mungo and Midge, The Herbs, Rupert the Bear, Ivor the Engine, Cockleshell Bay etc.
Being a little older in the 80's I loved things like The Ewoks, Dungeons and Dragons, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Battle of the Planets and Count Duckula. I could go on and on and on .....
I also had a bit of a thing for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. " I HAVE THE POWER!!!!! " lmao
And they say children spend too much time in front of the telly, PAHH!

Oy! Get those stop-frame and puppet shows out of here - it's about cartoons!
I loved the Looney Tunes stuff - Droopy, Foghorn Leghorn, and the one-offs that Tex Avery used to do. The early-to-mid-period Tom & Jerrys were good, but went spectacularly rubbish in the 60s. I understand that recent dvd issues have T&J re-edited for a modern audience - e.g. no black maid screeching "Thomas!", as that would now of course be considered unacceptable.
