Does anyone remember the T.V. sketch show that took over from Not the Nine O'Clock News in the 80's & 90's. It spawned the Rab C. Nesbit series. I'm desperately looking for the series' on DVD. Esp liked Shadwell and OHBC.

There was one sketch where "James Bond" comes in with a Boom-Box playing the Bond Theme to find a Bond Girl on the sofa.

In a Connery accent he says..

" Jamesh Bond...at your Shervish ...Shoon I hope! "

He then fishes for sympathy by explaining that he hasnt " Had Any" for ages . As he puts it in Connery mode...

" I get a kish at the Beginning ...a cuddle at the end... and Shod all In between "

He then has a cry and Blows his nose on his wig!

You had to be there!!

YEP,Shadwell had a birthday party,no music,but he had a lot of newspapers,so everyone could have a good read!!!
Remember him getting drunk on a huge bottle of whisky...classic.

Ooohh!!! Helen Lederer, her of the weird eyes! Brings a chill to my bones just thinking about it now. I used to have a nightmare about her and Christopher Walken having a child - just think of the nightmarish eyes that kid would have!!!!!
