In the original 60s TV series, which episode was it where the baddies turned some of the Enterprise crew into little grey cubes? I remember they sadistically killed one of those microskirted women by reducing her to a small cube, then crumbling it into dust, in case that jogs your memory.

Thanks everyone, that was very helpful. I was trying to identify a couple of the cast from that episode and with your help I was able to do just that.

I still think that woman being turned into a dehydrated block and then crumbled to dust is one of the most sadistic onscreen deaths I've ever seen.
