Have I missed something or has Lloyd (Craig Charles) been missing for quite a while with no explanation? Surely Steve should have noticed by now that his partner has been gone an awfully long time on his last fare!!

I would have thought something must have been mentioned, if only briefly, where Lloyd has disappeared to. As Craig Charles was suspended from the show with immediate effect, they wouldn't have been able to actually show him leaving I suppose.

Or perhaps he's realised what he's been missing, had a word with Hayley and nipped across to Holland to the same Docter he/she went to for the reverse operation.
