midsomer murders

was a bit dozy last night after top weekend. can anyone tell me what the bl00dy hell was going on last night? The chef woman-was that guy paying her to fulfill some weird fanatasy? The same for the woman in the trap being rescued scenario and the domineering horse lady whipping wimpy men? And if anyone knows why the bloke from the pub was the murderer I'd be grateful-I missed the end and think I missed bits napping inbetween!

The bloke from the pub was involved because the victim discovered the supermarket site wasn't contaminated & refused to sign a report endorsing the cheap sale (pub bloke was relying on the supermarket to buy his pub). But he didn't do it. The horse lady did. Don't know if that helps you any?
The murderer was the whippy woman, the bloke she was chastising at the beginning had a stroke, they thought he was dead and so decided to remove him to the old woodyard, however she hated the fact that that her husband was infatuated with the cookery school lady and having got the publican to move the body tried to frame her by stealing one of her knives and stabbing him in the chest.
The business referred to was offering people extra services, role play etc. However it later turned out that the council boss and the lady from the supermarket discovered that the soil was not contaminated, Mrs B announced at the end that she could quite happily have given out some domestic discipline, by the way anyone notice how much weight the actor who played Adam Klaus in J Creek has put on, cant wait for the next one though hope cully will be back soon
