Christopher Villiers

Is Christopher Villiers (Grayson Sinclair in Emmerdale) the son of James Villiers,the late actor who played upper class types in many films. I do know they both ascendents of the Dukedom of Clarendon.

Went to Stowe. Trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. Is the brother of actor Jay Villiers and producer Cat Villiers. His father was director David Villiers and mother actress Elizabeth Prideau. Is the director of 20-20 Casting. Co-wrote the film Two Men Went To War

I hope this helps it says that they are related to the earls of Clarendon (of the well-known Villiers family).

James Villiers - the actor who died in 1998 - was the grandson of Sir Francis Hyde Villiers, 4th son of the 4th Earl of Clarendon. He had no children of his own, but left an adopted son Alan Michael Hyde Villiers - born 1961 adopted 1967.
