Did anyone else see this? I thought it was interesting and had a good balance of good/bad stories from parents. I felt very sorry for the baby of the 14 year old, I wonder how they are now. I was very impressed by the girl with the twins, she seemed to be doing a great job. The very happy family with the disabled children were amazing, awe inspiring and very positive about their future. What did you think?

Yeah we've all been on about it this morning and tend to agree with you. How bad that the 14 year old was more interested in her mobile phone than her daughter, but then again she was too young to have children she is only a child herself.

I had to hold my hat out to the couple with the 2 special needs children they were doing a fantastic job, and i wish them all the best.
Yes I watched it and it was fascinating,The 14 yr old with the long blonde hair just did not want that baby did she.I felt really sorry for it.But the girl who has the Downs baby, then the little boy with cerebral palsy, well I just couldn't believe how unfazed they were - fantastic!
I agree, the 14 year old seemed to have no interest in her baby. It came across to me as if shes been forced to keep her baby, but surely that cant be the best option for the baby?

the girl with the twins seemed such a natural mother and is a inspiration to all single mothers, young or older.

the family with the 5 children were amazing too.all 5 seemed happy and well cared for. I think some people do abuse benefits but i think if the government makesit possible for families with no jobs/money to have 5 kids then i think you cant hold it against people who take those benefits and do good with it and have happy well cared for families.

as for the family with the 2 disabled sons and their daughter, i think it was amazing to see people embrace their children no matter what their differences may be.I'm older than the parents and i dont think i could cope as well as they had. they TRULY deserve a medal.
yes I agree it was a very interesting doc.
I did find the experienced nanny who had the girls go on the course at that house was a bit abrupt. Maybe I missed something but I think some of the girls needed to be taught a bit about accepting their 'lot' etc instead of the short sharp shock treatment of clock watching and routine. Perhaps I am turning soft in my old age - I surprised myself saying that!
That 14 year old, I felt sorry for her baby, but also for her. She is so not ready to be a Mother. Maybe she will be ready to be when the child is older and walking and talking, she'll be older herself then. But until then, maybe her parents would be best taking over the care of the child, not that they seemed over willing. Yes, the others that have been mentioned, the one with the twins and the one with the disabled children were great mothers, an inspiration to others.
