Does anyone else think that often Alexei Salyes multi-character performances were the best thing about the Young Ones?

Call me purile but the toilet humour and slap stick in Bottom is still my favourite thing to watch when I need to laugh my socks off and I even laugh at myself when I quote lines from it. I guess I don't have a very sophisticated sense of humour!

Yes, I really liked Alexei in The Young Ones. Anyone remember that excellent little sketch he did which I think was trying to ape (or skit) Monty Python?
Alexei: "Is this a cheese shop?"
Shop owner: "Er, no, Sir."
Alexei: "Ah, well. That's that sketch knackered then."
I also used to like The Comic Strip Presents. There was one called "A fist full of travellers cheques." Anyone remember that?
