and osprey like I have just pointed out that there is now as shrek and the nuuty professor 3 are in production and will all have eddie murphy in them. Making him the ONLY actor.

here we go look at me posting again..you could count harrison ford if you allow patriot games, air force one and clear and present danger as a tom clancy trilogy.

Christopher lee, was in lord of the rings, the muskeer films and a pparently played fu manchu 5 times (so not sure if that counts).

Leslie nielson has done 2 trilogies and a quadrilogy so does that count? I dont know.

Goodsoulette - Sorry to be pedantic but I have to dispute you replies. This question has been asked here several times and is becoming a little tiresome. No-one has APPEARED in all 3 films of 3 trilogies SO FAR. When Shrek 3 and Nutty Professor 3 are released Eddie Murphy will have been involved 9 times BUT will not have APPEARED in the Shrek films - although his voice will have been heard.

I acknowledge what you mention about Jackie Chan as well, and he will probably be the first actor to achieve the feat when Rush Hour 3 is released.

Are you sure about Eddie Murphy doing a Nutty Proffesor 3?.I've checked over at http://www.imdb.com & there is no mention of him doing Nutty prof 3.
