mystery programme!!

Can anyone remember a tv series that was on years ago. It was similar to fantasy island. At the beginning of the programme several people would get onto some kind of train, they would somehow go back in time to change something bad that happened in their life. Beginning to wonder if it was a dream cos nobody knows what i.m talking about!!

i remember a hammer house of horror story where a group of people got on a train in a deserted station and they had all done something bad or was planning on doing something bad and each told their story on the train and when they got off at the station i think hell was their destination. I think it was a hammer house or it could be a tale from the crypt im not sure.

thanks! i seem to remember it being on every week. I think the same man that appeared in fantasy ireland may have been on it too. he was a good looking man with short grey hair he was always with tattoo ("the plane the plane") or maybes he just looked like him off fantasy ireland!!??
